OUTFITS || PROM DRESS

Hi guys,I haven't talked to you in a while, I'm sorry! I've been so busy with exams and organizing the prom of my students corps. But the good news is: The prom was totally awesome! :) Click the ''Continue Reading'' button to see more photos.

We've spend the whole day decorating the location and it was so weird when the prom finally started. I mean, you've spend several months planning this and now it's finally happening! But I had such an awesome time and everybody liked it luckily! And I got a lot of compliments on my dress and my shoes (I wore my new silver heels), so I couldn't be happier! ;)

My shoes! :) The height of the heel wasn't even a problem due to the block heel!

And, some more good news: I've been accepted to do a two weeks photography course in... BUDAPEST!! It's in July and I can't wait! I'm going alone though, meeting a lot of new friends hopefully, but I'm a little scared!

INSPIRATION || BEAUTIFUL QUEEN MAXIMA

Today was a special day for the Netherlands: Our former queen, Beatrix, made place for our new king Willem Alexander and his wife queen Maxima. Maxima changed clothes multiple times today, but my favorite outfit is the stunning royal blue dress she wore during the crowning ceremony.

The dress is a design by Dutch designer Jan Taminiau. Also she wore a golden tiara on her head, which belonged to queen Emma the wife of Willem III and the sapphires on it belonged queen Anna Paulowna to Willem II.

The 3 daughters of Willem Alexander and Maxima also wore blue dresses and they looked adorable!

OUTFITS || RECAP

These are my outfits of the previous few months. Can you imagine being on a sunny island, while now it's almost freezing again!

I loved wearing a summer dress in the middle of winter and not being cold! ;) See post

TREND REPORT || METALLICS

I'm a bit late in reporting this trend, but I just really like it! Standing out due to gold and silver outfits is not really my style, but a few metallic accesoires are not too bad!

For me it started with these gorgeous Alexander Wang heels. Not ont did they have a simplistic ankle strap, they were also metallic!

The good thing is, silver and gold accesoires are like basics, they fit with almost everything! As long as you keep your outfit not too bling! ;)

Anyway, celebrities are fan and also designers are using metallic accesoires and clothing more often. I love the metallic shoes on the catwalk and a silver or gold skirt with an oversized sweater for instance. It's the balance I think: a simple plain nitted sweater with a sparkling eyecatcher skirt.

I like to keep things simple, so I wouldn't wear a total metallic outfit, but a skirt or just shoes or a handbag is okay in normal life I think.

Finally a post again! ;) As soon as a new term of school starts, I have eye for nothing else anymore, I'm sorry! Anyway, a skirt-outfit again, I'm into skirts now. ;) I can't wait to shoot an outfit with my new vintage sweater which I bought for about 1 euro! But you'll just have to wait, because I'm busy busy busy with architecture, painting and designing. And do you remember the gorgeous silver heels I ordered? Well, they were too bag sadly.. but I ordered a size smaller now so I can wait till next week when I can try them on!

Today I didn't dare to go outside without a coat to take photos (it snowed!), so inside-photos it is! ;) I am in love with my new boots, I really wear them all the time. Also, this cardigan is was my best friend the last couple of months, so it really was about time I showed you an outfit with it. Now I have to go eat. Enjoy your weekend!

I'm in a shopping mood! I bought these amazing (they're my new favourites) boots in sale and instead of 60 euros they cost me 16! Happy! ;) And they're real leather so hopefully my feet will stay dry. Next to that I also bought a sweater and jeans in a vintage store, which I will hopefully show you soon. And to finish the shopping madness I ordered these two items at Asos.com:

And these gorgeous metallic heels. Hopefully they will fit!

Back to the outfit, with the skirt and the jacket it reminds me of Grease, don't you think? So that's what I did this weekend. How about yours?
